Inaugural Earth Hour For Brunei A Spectacular Success

Brunei’s water village, one of the most iconic landmarks in Brunei’s oldest village, Darussalam was plunged into darkness for Earth Hour.

Incredibly a Member of the Brunei Royal Family, Prince Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Duli Pengiran Muda Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim Ibni Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, attended official event at the Kampong Ayer Cultural and Tourism Gallery.

Joining the prince was The Deputy Minister of Industry and Primary Resources:
Dato Paduka Awg Hj Hamdillah bin Hj Abdul Wahab and the Director of Tourism Development Department: Sheikh Jamaluddin Sheikh Mohamed.

The guests of honor, local Earth Hour team and the crowd at the event were treated to a performance of the official Earth Hour Brunei song “Experience” by Brunei artist Fakhrul Razi.
